Gomatic Travel Pack, Not Just Well Designed, Perfectly Engineered

Four flights, a broken leg and a business meeting in Vienna. Even without a crutch and a leg brace the prospect of plane changes, security and three days worth of luggage is not appealing. Though travel is about coinvenience, the world of business can be more conservative and arring to your meeting with a pack may leave you looking a little too much like a college kid. The travel pack converts to a side handled briefcase for more formal situations.

My favorite feature is that you can use it as an everyday pack, but when you go on a trip, you can expand the bag by 50 percent. So when I go on vacation, I never have to think about packing my chargers, chapstick, etc. — they’re already there! I just unzip the expansion and throw in my toiletries and clothes.

There’s a small hidden zipper pocket on the backside of the pack, behind the frame sheet. It’s a little difficult to access, but that’s a good thing—your passport, or valuables like cash and credit cards, will be safe from pickpockets. There’s also a cord pass-through here that can be used to charge your phone if you want to have a battery bank inside the main compartment of the bag.

Inside you’ll find a zippered RFID safe pocket at the top, which covers about half of the flap. Below that pocket, there’s a smaller zippered pocket, two sleeves for pens, pencils, or styluses, and two mesh liner pockets.
