Vail Resorts Promote A White Christmas On The Ski Slopes

For those seeking the ultimate white Christmas this year, they need look no further than the ski resorts of the USA where December is filled with hot cocoa, lit up trees, skiing with Santa, ice sculpting and so much more.

• Beaver Creek – Tree Lighting Spectacular & NYE Celebration To continue the excitement of Beaver Creek’s Opening Week, the Tree Lighting Spectacular will take place on Friday, Nov. 24. Beaver Creek Village will be bustling with activities, including ice skating, meet & greets with Santa, a crafts workshop, holiday market, and a Spectacular show before fireworks light up the night sky and the official Christmas tree of Beaver Creek Village is illuminated. If you prefer to visit for the New Year, ring 2024 at the New Year's Eve Celebration with performers and live music throughout Beaver Creek Village, with a screening of the ball drop at 10 pm local time, followed by a fireworks show to welcome 2024.
• Northstar California – Noel Nights This year, Northstar Mountain is bringing back one of the Tahoe region’s favorite traditions, Noel Nights. Noel Nights invites families and friends to get in the holiday spirit and partake in classic festivities throughout December. The Village at Northstar transforms into a winter wonderland featuring ice skating, s’mores and hot cocoa by the fire pits, photos with Santa, and live music.
• Heavenly Mountain Resort – Heavenly Holidays Visit Heavenly Mountain Resort in Tahoe to celebrate the holidays in style. In December, the resort partners with Heavenly Village to create activities the whole family will love, including skiing with Santa, an ice sculpting contest, tree lighting, live music, and more.
• Crested Butte Mountain Resort – Light Up the Night! + Après with Santa December 9: In partnership with the town of Mt. Crested Butte, guests are invited to the mountain base area for Light Up the Night! This annual event features a lighting of the tree and menorah, hot cocoa and fun activities for the little ones. On December 23, Santa sneaks in a last-minute visit for après in the base area. Gear up for holiday cheer with a hot cocoa bar and get your picture taken with Santa and his “sleigh” (snowcat)!
