San Martino di Castrozza Gets New "Cima Tognola" Chairlift, New Interactive Summer Routes

The historic two-seater chairlift "Cima Tognola" will be replaced by a new four-seater chairlift for the winter season 22/23, which will take guests to the summit in just 3 minutes from the arrival of the six-seater chairlift "Cigolera". This chairlift thus serves the connection Tognola-Ces and allows unforgettable skiing on the Cima slope with a comfortable and fast ascent.

IN SEARCH OF THE STONE OF TIME

“In search of the stone of time” is the new exciting thematic and interactive route for families on Alpe Tognola , 2,200 meters above San Martino di Castrozza.

To become expert investigators, just ask at the start of the ski lifts or at the Tognola Refuge for the "Kit of the young marmot" containing the booklet with the story and instructions for the mission as well as a splendid personalized pencil: you will be immediately catapulted into a magical world where the mythical Carlotta Marmot will find herself investigating the mysterious disappearance of the stone of time , a fragment of rock fallen from the sky with incredible powers.

Through seven stages you will meet many fantastic characters, until you identify the seven letters which, at the end of the itinerary, will compose the magic word to obtain the prize . Which prize? What questions! Obviously the stone of time!

The experience takes place along the Sentiero delle Marmotte , a high-altitude ring inserted in the Alpe delle Marmotte Park, where you will find splendid 1 and a half meter wooden statues of the characters of the story.

Dates: Every day during the summer opening months.

Cost: € 4 for the young marmot kit consisting of a magic booklet, personalized wooden pencil and final prize, the stone of time.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION
The path of the Marmots, surrounded by nature, will lead you through the natural beauties of Alpe Tognola. The circular route starts from the Tognola Refuge , which can be reached from the Tognola cable car departing from San Martino di Castrozza .

The main feature of this path is the panoramic view of the Pale di San Martino , one of the most iconic groups of the Dolomites, which makes it an ideal destination for photography lovers.

The ease of the route makes this walk suitable for everyone , especially for families with children.

REFRESHMENT POINTS ALONG THE PATH

The path starts from the Tognola Refuge , where it is possible to stop to taste typical local dishes with high quality ingredients and zero km.

Alpe Tognola Booking and Infopoint is the booking and information office located in the valley station of the Tognola cable car, in front of the ticket office.
