Smith Launches I/O MAG Imprint 3D Goggle For W22/23
Smith, the manufacturer of snow goggles, relaunched its Imprint 3D Technology for Winter 2022/23.
Imprint 3D Technology addresses a wide range of face shapes and features while eliminating a one-size fits all approach. The custom experience offers
- increased all-day comfort,
- elimination of light leaks due to improper fit,
- removal of pressure points or hot spots, and
- an expanded field of view.
Smith I/O MAG Imprint 3D custom goggle is made to work with the individual features of the user as follows:
- Using Smith’s custom app, users scan their face to capture unique details and contours.
- With Smith’s patent-pending Imprint 3D Technology, an individualized frame is generated with a face flange to the user’s face surface.
- The frame is 3D printed using HP’s Industrial Multi Jet Fusion platform, hand assembled into the Smith I/O MAG goggle in Smith’s U.S.-based production facility, and delivered to the user within 14 days.
The Smith I/O MAG Imprint 3D goggle feature Smith’s proprietary ChromaPop-branded lens offering visual clarity “beyond normal capabilities” by amplifying natural color and enhancing definition. The user can swap out the lenses quickly through the patent-pending and proprietary Smith MAG technology that integrates weatherproof magnets and dual locking mechanisms to adapt to varying light conditions with lens security.
Available exclusively in North America, the Smith I/O MAG Imprint 3D goggle includes the custom-created Smith I/O MAG frame, two proprietary ChromaPop branded snow lenses, a protective hardcase, gogglesoc supplied lens protector, and a microfiber bag.
