Fun & Games At Family Day On The Hohe Salve
On Sunday, October 9th, 2022, the Tyrolean panoramic mountain Hohe Salve and its smaller sister, the Kleine Salve, will be transformed into a true children's paradise.
The Hohe Salve mountain railway in Hopfgarten and the Salvistabahn in Itter comfortably bring guests a little closer to heaven on a family day. And at unbeatable prices! Because on Family Day, all visitors get their day ticket for half price!
At 10:30 a.m., the family day will be opened with music by singer "LUMINYA" as Ice Queen Elsa, the highlight of the day. Afterwards, visitors have the opportunity to meet the Ice Queen and her friend Olaf, the snowman, in person at the “Meet and Greet”. The repeat concert will take place at 2:00 p.m. Unforgettable memories in the mountains for young and old!
A colorful program of games with handicraft and make-up stations, culinary highlights and exciting attractions, such as the "HoLaRo" puppet theater at the KRAFTalm in Itter and magician Markus Gimpel at the Berggasthof Tenn, also await small and large mountaineers. The fluffy alpacas from the Hinterheacha farm in Angerberg are also back this year at Alpengasthof Rigi!
Not only Elsa is waiting on the Hohe Salve: At the baking station of the Hohe Salve summit hut, the children can try their own “Kiachl” in the morning and then enjoy it. As always, the playground "Salvi's Kraxxl Platzl" invites you to play and run around. There is also a handicraft station at the summit of the Hohe Salve.
Various games are available on the Kleine Salve. With giant soap bubbles, a join-in circus, XXL painting boards and a sweets stand, every child's heart beats faster.
Balance and skill are required on the balance parcour at the "Salvista-Garten" low ropes course, which is located directly at the valley station of the Salvistabahn in Itter. If you feel like taking a break, you can have your face painted.
From 1:30 p.m., a little surprise awaits all little summiteers at the valley stations of the Hopfgarten and Itter cable cars.
