Elan Wins Over 65 Awards In 2022
Over the course of almost 80 years, Elan has continued to validate its well-established reputation for innovation by introducing countless advancements in ski equipment that have helped transform the sport of skiing, while delighting users across the world. During this time, Elan has received many endorsements by globally recognized institutions for technological excellence and visual appeal. This year is no different, as the 2022/23 ski collection has received more than 65 awards from around the globe.
GLEN PLAKE SIGNATURE MODEL
Accords received this year included the prestigious Red Dot Award given for outstanding achievement in design. It was awarded to Elan for the Ripstick Tour 104, a lightweight ski developed in collaboration with skiing legend Glen Plake. The product was designed to meet the needs of the fast-growing ski touring market and focuses on the functionality of uphill efficiency and uncompromising performance on the descent. This marks the 13th time the Red Dot has been given to Elan. Additionally, Ripstick Tour 104 was recently recognized at the Slovenian Design Awards for a distinctive breakthrough in design and awarded at Design Month, an event aimed at promoting Slovenian-based design to the public.

Elan’s revolutionary VOYAGER, the world's first folding all-mountain ski, earned Red Dot 'Best of the Best', Plus X, the ISPO Gold Award in the Sports Equipment category, the Big See product design award, and last but not least the Gold Innovation Award from the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
