Audi Extending Commitment To Austrian Ski Association
Audi is once again reaffirming its commitment to winter sports and extending the partnership with the Austrian Ski Association for another four years. Audi Austria has been supporting the ÖSV for over a decade and provides the fleet of company cars.
Support in winter sports is the ideal setting for Audi to present the sportiness, dynamism and electrification of the brand to a broad audience. The continuation of the long-standing partnership with the ÖSV shows the mutual ambition for top performance, also when it comes to sustainability and electromobility.
“The continuation of the common path or the extension of the cooperation by four more years is obvious and a logical consequence. We will continue to equip the ÖSV with our premium products and accompany them to their destinations safely and in an environmentally friendly manner." said Thomas Beran, Brand Manager Audi Austria
The ÖSV stars can continue to rely on the superiority of the quattro all-wheel drive for the next four years. Katharina Liensberger, Matthias Mayer and Johannes Strolz as well as Sara Marita Kramer and Stefan Kraft are happy about the reliable mobile companions. Anna Gasser, for example, has been driving a fully electric Q4 e-tron for over a year. The aim is to help ensure that electromobility becomes part of everyday life for athletes too and to successively convert the vehicle fleet to e-mobility in the coming years. The electrification of the ÖSV fleet will continue to be consistently pursued. The gradual switch is supported by the installation of charging stations at various locations of the Austrian Ski Association.
“We also want to do our part in the direction of CO2-neutral technology and thus contribute to a positive energy transition. Audi has been an integral part of the Ski World Cup for a long time. Like us, they strive for performance and constant improvement, which connects and makes us stronger together. It's a privilege, because knowing you have reliable partners at your side is not something that can be taken for granted."
Roswitha Stadlober, President of the Austrian Ski Association
