376 Austrian Athletes Receive Their Uniforms
fter the highly acclaimed clothing presentation in the EUROPARK Salzburg, the large clothing edition in Innsbruck followed today. A total of 376 ÖSV athletes were equipped in the Olympiaworld for the 2022/23 season.
Two weeks before the start of the Alpine World Cup in Sölden, athletes from eleven sports met to pick up the new racing, training and going-out clothing and to get in the mood for the World Cup season. In the coming season, Nordic and alpine racing clothing will again be dominated by the traditional colors red and white, while the go-out clothing is quite colorful in all categories.
“The outfitting is a first highlight of the season for us, which gives everyone involved great pleasure. A big thank you goes to our long-standing outfitters. The new clothing is not only highly functional, but also very beautiful. Our athletes are out and about in it for a large part of the year and are not just ambassadors for the ÖSV, but also for Austria as a winter sports destination,” says ÖSV President Roswitha Stadlober .
- Nicole Schmidhofer (Alpine skiing): "It is not a matter of course that you have such big sponsors in times like these and that you get so much at your disposal. I'm always super happy - it feels like birthday and Christmas at the same time. I especially think the new down coat in purple is really cool. This is something completely different again.”
- Andreas Prommegger (Snowboard): “The clothing is something special. You come here and you get plenty of gifts. The robe not only looks good, but is also highly functional. The new color is fresh and has a high recognition value. I like it when you're out and about in a colorful way and thus stepping out of line."
- Lisa Hauser (Biathlon): “I was really impressed by the new racing suit at the fashion show yesterday and I'm a fan of the colors white and red here anyway. The mixture of high functionality and great design fits – there are also new colors for outerwear this year.”
- Lukas Greiderer (Nordic Combined): “I really like the overall package. This is not something that can be taken for granted, so a big thank you to the outfitters. In the meantime, I've also become a veteran when it comes to dressing up, but I still look forward to it every year. I especially like the combination of blue and gray in the outerwear.”
