Rock Days In Pillerseetal: The Climbing Festival For All Fans Of The Vertical
Whether alpine climbing, via ferrata or children's climbing - at the ROCKdays in the PillerseeTal everything revolves around rocks. The three-day event attracts with workshops for young and old, beginners or experienced .
"Trying out something new is not only expressly permitted at the ROCKdays, but explicitly desired," say Katrin Pühringer and Daniel Hofer, the project managers from the PillerseeTal Tourist Association.
Two days of workshops , an action-packed competition and a cool party with a live band on the lake stage show that the ROCKdays have thought of all friends of the mountains when designing the program. The little ones are integrated into the fun just as much as the experts or those who just want to get a taste of climbing.
After a yoga session at Pillersee in St. Ulrich, the workshops for beginners and via ferratas as well as the two-day alpine climbing course start on Saturday morning. Salewa provides rental equipment free of charge. Adventurers can also rappel down bridges and jump over waterfalls with the Fun Connection while canyoning in the Teufelsklamm . On the Pillersee, the SUP'N'FUN team do their rounds on the stand up paddle board with the water rats, while the kids are well looked after with children's climbing.
The motto "Action and fun for everyone" continues on the ROCKsaturday afternoon at the ROCKwarrior competition for everyone. At various stations it is important to be the fastest or the fastest. A simpler variant is built for the children. Of course you can test the stations before you have to prove your muscle strength in the qualification and take part in the subsequent final. The ROCKwarrior will be celebrated at ROCKnight , where a live band will ignite musical fireworks on the lake stage.
ROCKsunday is again the meeting point in Waidring at the Steinplatte mountain railway. You can also choose from a range of workshops here: via ferrata tour, multi-pitch tour, alpine climbing course, climbing for beginners, climbing for children or canyoning. The possibilities on the 7 km long and up to 200 m high Steinplatte with 100 multi-rope routes and 70 sport climbing routes from the 4th to the 8th level of difficulty are almost endless.
The Kitzbühel mountain guides and the Fun Connection are behind the festival as technical competence.
