More Than Just A Facelift For The Pistenbully 100, Lower Engine Speed Saves Fuel, Co2 And Costs
During the redesign of the PistenBully 100, particular attention was paid to efficient power development.
The PistenBully 100 is considered the most powerful snow groomer in its class, and with the current improvement in technology and design, it maintains this position. In every respect.
Most powerful engine in its class
Power production is critical for the preparation of slopes and trails. This has been increased once again in the PistenBully 100: 16% more torque - consistent throughout the entire working range - that can really be felt when pushing and pulling.
Low engine speed saves fuel and reduces CO2 emissions
There is also significantly more power available throughout the entire speed range. The power peak of 256 hp (188 KW) is now reached at just 1,800 rpm. This allows for lower engine speeds that reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, thus saving you money.
More fuel tank capacity for greater range
The 27% (40 liter) larger tank volume – along with lower consumption - results in a longer range. Enough reserve and a safe feeling even on long shifts.
Compact and sleek design
Visually, the PistenBully 100 simply cuts a fine figure - and has now slimmed down a bit: the complete exhaust aftertreatment system is now a single unit - thanks to the more compact arrangement of the modules.
New and in series production: the Autotracer
AutoTracer is familiar from our larger models - and now, no one wants to operate without it. This preference is due to the rear implement carrier, with its intelligent, active steering assistance, which enables automatic and independent steering when cornering and automatically steers against it on side slopes. That's why this assistance system is now standard in the PistenBully 100. The tiller with precise tilling depth adjustment and snow flap is the optimum tool for use in Nordic disciplines combined with a cross-country skiing tracker.
