Zermatt Unplugged Is Back With Almost 60 Acts; April 5th - 9th

This year's Acoustic Music Festival Zermatt Unplugged will take place from April 5th to 9th, 2022. The shows in front of an imposing mountain backdrop bring a special atmosphere to the village.

This year's Zermatt Unplugged Festival welcomes big acts like James Bay, Ellie Goulding and Rea Garvey. During five days, 58 artists, including 20 newcomers, will perform on a total of 18 different stages in front of a dreamy mountain backdrop. The locations now also include the Riffelhaus, the Stafelalp and the Hotel Beausite.

Zermatt Unplugged stands for music, enjoyment and hospitality - a festival for all the senses. In the Taste Village - the heart of the festival - there is a diverse (and above all delicious) range of food and drinks to discover this year: from regional meat specialties to traditional Valais raclette and plant-based burgers. The Wine Lounge in the foyer tent is also new to discover.

5 days - over 50 concerts - 1 unplugged pass

Unplugged Pass holders can look forward to access to all Unplugged Pass stages, late night jazz and DJ sound until the early hours. They also have access to the Taste Village, to all side stages and side events and to the after parties. The concerts at the Vernissage are also included. The pass costs CHF 60 and is valid for the entire festival period. In addition to the 20 Discovery Acts, the program also includes Philipp Fankhauser in the Blues Club and Late Night Jazz in Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in the Mont Cervin Palace. Another highlight: the band The Hot Teapots, which plays in the foyer tent after the main concerts.

Discovery Acts

The acoustic-folk duo Ocie Elliot will start their 2022 European tour from Zermatt. Sétay, the Valais rapper, has his second album "Petit Rêveur" with him and is accompanied by the sounds of the trio Passiflores. The young soul musician Nnavy from Lausanne will also give us magical, unamplified and real moments at Zermatt Unplugged. Also on board: Frank Wiedemann, the magician at the mixing desk, and the Zurich producer and DJ duo Adriatique will be DJing in Zermatt later in the night.
