Ski Racing Media is happy to announce that Peter Lange will become their new Publisher. Peter is a long-time ski racing enthusiast with an in-depth knowledge of every level of ski racing, from age class racing in the regions to the World Cup. He will bring a unique perspective with his many years of experience. For the last ten years, Peter has been the program director and head coach for Team America, separated by a two-year stint as head coach for the National University Team.

Peter will be responsible for industry advertising and all content.

In addition, the editor position at Ski Racing Media has been restructured and outsourced. Effective March 21, Geoff Mintz is no longer with Ski Racing Media.

Peter says, “I am very excited to start my role with Ski Racing Media. I’ve had a smile on my face since the moment it was suggested. I have loved and lived the sport for over 40 years. Let’s enjoy Ski Racing together.”

Ski Racing Media CEO Jon Franklin says, “All of us at Ski Racing Media are incredibly excited to welcome Peter Lange to the Ski Racing Media team.  There is no one with more depth and breadth of knowledge about alpine ski racing and at all levels from junior to collegiate, World Cup and Pro. The addition of Peter to Ski Racing Media is part of the ongoing advancement of Ski Racing Media to fulfill its multiple missions as “The Bible of the Sport” for over 50 years.”

There is no one I trust more or have more confidence in than Peter. We have worked closely together for twelve years. He will bring excitement and creativity to our content. We will continue to be an independent voice working closely with all ski racing constituencies to spread the word about this amazing sport.”
