Schladming-Dachstein Region Choses "Heroes of the Season"
The Schladming-Dachstein Tourist Association came up with a very special team-building event for the employees of the region's tourist businesses at the end of a challenging winter season: on March 28th, 25 participating 2-person Teams at the Tauernalm in Rohrmoos for the big “Heroes of the Season” challenge.
They competed in exciting disciplines such as bobsledding, building beer mat houses, playing ladder golf and a tricky quiz about the region. At the end of a fun day, the winners Sofia Kraiter and Julia Perner from Team 2 at the Weitmoosalm were delighted to receive prize money of 500 euros.
"Especially in such a difficult time as this, it is very important to us to say thank you to the many employees of the excellent companies in our region and to show them our appreciation for their commitment," says Mathias Schattleitner, Managing Director of the Tourist Association Schladming-Dachstein. "Your high level of motivation and tireless commitment to our guests is certainly the most important building block for the great success of our adventure region in the highly competitive global tourism market."
The varied program was organized with the help of the Schladming event and outdoor agency IN A TEAM. After an entertaining afternoon with the live band special combo and a great atmosphere, all participants went to the Tauernalm for a well-deserved dinner, where the award ceremony also took place. In addition to the winners of the challenge, Tanja Steiner and Julia Brunner from Team 1 at the Weitmoosalm and Sebastian Gaisbauer and Stefan Gyger from the Hotel Schütterhof were also on the podium. They were happy about a cooking course with 4-toque chef Richard Rauch and backpacks from the Ortovox brand.
