MDV Promotes Hero Products For GB Ski Test
The team at MDV are ready for the GB ski test and have selected hero products. They say "After 2 years, the SIGB Ski Test is back and we are super excited to be spending next week showing you our new product and of course taking them for a shred together! THE NEW KENDO & KENJA 88
This is an all-mountain freeride ski with a state-of-the-art build that can be used by experienced skiers who relish powerful turns on any terrain and on any piste. The Kenja & Kendo 88 come with revised geometry and a one metre shorter centre radius in its 3D Radius Sidecut - the three different radii combined in one ski make for enormously versatile cornering.
This ski encourages a sporty, intuitive style on groomed slopes, but also provides the manoeuvrability you need to get through challenging terrain. Less force is required too, thanks to a shorter centre radius. This season, the Kendo 88 also features Tailored Carbon Tips and a Tailored Titanal Frame. So if it wasn’t clear already, there can now be no doubt that fun is the Kendo’s middle name.
THE NEW DEACON 72 & DEACON 76
The New Deacon 72 and 76 have been upgraded to include the newly developed, highly innovative Tailored Carbon Tips. The Tailored Carbon Tips are lightweight, allow agile shovel sidecut with less effort and build up energy quickly.
We have integrated 3D.Glass throughout the front and rear of the ski making it noticeably livelier. The models are rounded off by the addition of a Multilayer Woodcore, a wooden core made of hard wood (beech) in the binding and sidewall area and softer wood (poplar) in between. The wood sits in combination with two full layers of Titanal (Full Titanal), this delivers uncompromising edge grip even on hard and icy surfaces.
The movements of the skier are transmitted precisely, and the ski delivers incredible stability at high speeds.
THE NEW FLAIR SC AND RACETIGER SC
Freshly groomed slopes, challenging terrain, short radii and reliability at high speed: with this in mind, Völkl is launching two completely updated models in winter 2022/23 – the Flair SC Carbon for women and the Racetiger SC Carbon. With these new high-tech slalom carvers, nothing stands in the way of fun-loving, energetic skiers having the time of their lives on the mountain, true to our motto: #SimplySkiing #JustLikeThat.
THE NEW DALBELLO FAST
With the new VELOCE, they present an Alpine boot with advanced technologies such as Contour 5 , Autofit and a bi‑injected shell that sets new standards for handling and comfort. The overlap design with a last width of 100 mm is therefore ideal for ambitious all mountain skiers looking for a performance-oriented boot that does not sacrifice comfort.
The VELOCE 130 GW, 120 GW as well as the 105 W GW and 95 W GW also feature Dalbello’s new AUTOFIT technology. The tongue uses a special memory foam that moulds to the individual skier’s shin bone. The foam padding protects the shin by reducing pressure, customising the tongue for more comfort.
