Alp Media Provides Next Level Screen Information System In The New XXL Cabins Of The Lech Rufikopfbahn

The new XXL Rüfikopf cable car cabins were equipped with a high-quality digital screen information system from Alp Media.

After almost 34 years and tens of millions of people being transported, the 2 iconic "vintage gondolas" were retired and replaced with new cabins.

The CEO of the Rüfikopf-Seilbahn AG, Mag. Christoph Pfefferkorn, also used this renewal to equip the new identical gondolas with a modern screen information system from Alp Media and thus do justice to targeted guest and service information. This ensures that the desired and up-to-date guest information reaches and is noticed by every passenger in the cabins.

Precisely because of our everyday information overload, the correct positioning and quality of digital screens is crucial so that the desired information is perceived in the best possible way by the guests.

What better way than to place the screens in the right position in the cabins, where the guests stay during the entire journey. Pivoting mounts and therefore easy tilt adjustments enable an optimal viewing angle on each individual screen. Each XXL cable car cabin is equipped with 4 high-quality screens. Each of these screens has an automatic brightness control - this guarantees an optimally legible image in any ambient light, whether sunny, cloudy or foggy. In addition, the screens were optimally integrated in a stainless steel design, without visible screw connections and in the color of the cabin. Anti-reflective safety glasses support image reproduction and also provide high-quality protection against mechanical influences.
