Kirchberg Becomes A Sea Of ​Flowers

Brixental is blooming again: On August 15th, the flower parade 2022 will take place in Kirchberg. More than 30 creatively and artistically decorated flower wagons parade through the streets.

The parade starts at 3 p.m. But there is also a lot on the program before and after with a morning pint and the summer night party. On August 15, more than 500,000 dahlias, carnations, gerberas and sunflowers adorn the colorful works of art that are pulled through the streets of Kirchberg by cars, vintage cars, tractors and carriages. Attached to Styrofoam in painstaking manual work, the flowers form a wide variety of creations, and there are no limits to the choice of the participants.

Magnificently designed animals and imaginative mythical creatures can be seen as well as motifs that focus on current events and traditional themes. The parade will be accompanied by the Aschau Federal Music Band and the Kirchberg Music Band. 

The flower parade is an annual visual highlight that attracts thousands of onlookers from near and far. Full program with brunch, flower parade and summer night party This year's flower parade starts at 11 a.m. with the Radio U1 morning pint.

The musical accompaniment will be provided until 2 p.m. by “Die Thierseer”, the “Tiroler Partymander”, “Die Alpis”, “Vollgas Tirol” and “Die Junge Wladensteiner”. At 3 p.m. the engines of the flower wagons start - the "Flower Parade" sends the brightly decorated vehicles through the streets of Kirchberg. The summer night festival with live bands begins at 5 p.m. There is also something for the little festival visitors with a children's program throughout the day.
