Woodward Copper On-snow Summer Camp Returns With Two New Camp Experiences

Enjoy a summer camp experience unlike any other at Woodward Copper. Home to the most exciting summer camp in the Rocky Mountains, Woodward Copper offers 10 weeks of on-snow skiing and snowboard camps at the resort’s summer terrain park. New this season, campers can choose between two different camp experiences prioritizing their session to focus on skier and rider development or all mountain adventure.

  • Woodward Copper is offering 10-weeks of on-snow, skiing and riding summer camps for kids ages 7-17 from June 5 through August 12
  • Guests can save an extra $150 on a Woodward Summer Camp when they book a weeklong session before April 30

Woodward Copper is known as the leader in freestyle skiing and snowboarding, cultivating year-round training opportunities for athletes of all ages and ability levels both on and off the snow. Woodward summer camp provides 10 full weeks of skiing and snowboarding progression for kids ages 7 to 17. The summer terrain park is the only one of its kind in Colorado, offering approximately four acres of rails, jumps and jibs serviced by a surface lift. While on the mountain, campers will have the opportunity to learn helpful tips from visiting professional skiers and riders, including Red Gerard, Nick Goepper, Hunter Hess and more.

As part of Woodward camp, participants will have access to sessions at the Woodward Copper Barn – a 19,400 square foot indoor playground with six Olympic fly-bed trampolines, 16’ by 16’ Super Trampoline, foam pits, pump track, multiple skate areas and a spring floor. The Barn also has ParkBoards™ and ParkSkis™, which are wheeled skis and snowboards that allow riders to practice jumps into a foam pit before replicating tricks on the snow. With exclusive access to Copper’s world-class training facilities, qualified coaching staff and shared knowledge from visiting professional athletes, Woodward summer camp is unrivaled in providing one-of-a-kind experiences for burgeoning shredders.

New this summer, kids can choose their own adventure experiences at Woodward Copper Summer Camp. Young athletes can choose a path that matches their goals, whether it’s focused on performance or maximizing fun in the mountains.

Woodward’s Peak Performance summer camp experience is for the die-hard athlete that wants to prioritize training time on the snow at the summer terrain park and the Woodward Barn. Skiers and riders will focus on sharpening their skills both on and off the mountain utilizing Woodward’s development tools. Campers will also participate in summer and recreational activities as part of the camp experience.

Campers who opt into the All-Mountain Adventure camp experience will immerse themselves in a Colorado summer, enjoying everything Copper has to offer during the warmer months. Participants will spend mornings shredding on the summer terrain park and in the afternoon, will head to Copper's Center Village to play, checking out the Woodward Copper Barn, Rocky Mountain Coaster, Woodward WreckTangle, bumper boats, zipline and more. The All-Mountain Adventure camp is best suited for the camper that wants to grow their talent in the terrain park while also exploring everything summertime in the Rockies has to offer.

If booked on or before April 30, campers can save $150 on a summer camp session at Woodward Copper.
