Thule Opens Second North American Brand Store In Vancouver
Thule officially opened its first Canadian brand store in West Vancouver, British Columbia. Thule Store Vancouver is the second North American brand store opened by Thule in the last six months, with Thule Store Denver opening in June 2021.
Officially opening its doors in January, the 186-square-meter space is located in the Park Royal Shopping Centre—a premium shopping complex that is home to several prominent outdoor and active lifestyle brands such as Nike and Lululemon. The store provides local Canadian customers the opportunity to shop all of Thule’s product categories in one space. In addition to shopping Thule’s well-known vehicle accessories like bike, water, and winter sport carriers, customers also get hands-on experience with product from Thule’s other award-winning categories, including jogging strollers, premium luggage, innovative daypacks, and rooftop tents.
As with the Denver location, Thule is collaborating with longtime retail partner Rack Attack to facilitate staffing and day-to-day operations. “Rack Attack has worked with Thule for 25 years and we’re proud to be continuing this venture as their dedicated partner to operate the Thule brand stores in North America,” says Alex Welbers, CEO, Rack Attack. “Our position as the leading rack retailer with extensive market knowledge and expert advice on Thule’s entire portfolio of products will set the foundation for success to serve customers in West Vancouver and future locations in the U.S. and Canada.” From vehicle fitting for roof racks to advice on the best stroller for your family’s lifestyle, Rack Attack’s team of trained staff will use their expertise to support all customers’ needs.

Thule has several brand stores throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, and one in the United States, but Thule Store Vancouver is the first of its kind in Canada.
To kick-off the opening of Thule’s first Canadian brand store, their staff will host a grand opening event on May 14, with prizes, athlete appearances, and more, that will be open to the public.
