Two Iconic Snowmass Resorts Announce December 2021 Reopening Following $40 Million Renovation
High Street Real Estate Partners, RGP Partners, ACRON Real Estate Investments, and Davidson Hospitality Group are pleased to announce the December 2021 reopening of two distinguished properties located in the heart of Snowmass Village, Colo.
Following the acquisition, the two properties underwent transformational renovations to elevate the interiors and exteriors, introduce dynamic culinary concepts and create luxury guest programming. Hotel management for the two resorts is now overseen by Davidson Resorts, a highly specialized operating vertical of Davidson Hospitality Group, one of the nation’s premier full-service hospitality management companies.
With refreshed exteriors and interiors, the debut of Lupine Spa and new restaurant, Stark’s Alpine Grill, Viewline Resort Snowmass, Autograph Collection will provide the highest quality ski-in/ski-out experience in the destination. Offering the most function space in the area, the property features over 20,000 square feet of meeting space in the adjacent Viewline Event Center operated by the resort. Wildwood Snowmass will debut several enhancements, including a new restaurant and bar, Last Chair.

Viewline Resort Snowmass, Autograph Collection
Located in the globally recognized Aspen-Snowmass outdoor recreation area, Viewline Resort Snowmass, Autograph Collection will reopen as the premier hotel for ski-in/ski-out access in Colorado. Focused on providing guest experiences for all ages and every season, the resort will launch a private ski and bike concierge, and a robust Kids’ Club program. The resort is also debuting Lupine Spa, a full-service wellness experience featuring Ayurvedic methods and treatments. The premier destination for groups and weddings, the resort has 12 expansive venues, along with 20,000 square feet of flexible space in the adjacent Viewline Event Center operated by the resort.
An integral part of its transformation, Viewline Resort Snowmass, Autograph Collection will debut new culinary experiences in partnership with RING on HOOK, a nationally acclaimed Denver-based hospitality company. Restaurant management will be overseen by Davidson Restaurant Group. Stark’s Alpine Grill is the new signature restaurant designed to evoke a cozy tavern feel, specializing in innovative American fare with curated menus evolving seasonally to match the year-round experience. An extension of Stark’s, The Lobby Bar has also been thoughtfully redesigned to play a role in the guest experience immediately upon arrival. Extending to the outdoors with a three-level deck along the side of the mountain, The Lobby Bar provides a more casual après ski experience, serving light fare and drinks in a warm and inviting setting.
Hotel design and development firm, The Gettys Group, oversaw the significant renovations to Viewline Resort Snowmass, Autograph Collection from the 254 guestrooms and 20 suites to the public spaces and exteriors. The Gettys Group Chief Innovation Officer Ron Swindler has a deep history of the Snowmass region, having been involved in the property’s design 20 years prior. Cultivating a modern mountain Colorado resort with an authentic 1960’s ethos, the newly elevated nature-inspired interior and exterior spaces remain approachable with a light, warm, and family-friendly design focus.
Joining Autograph Collection Hotels, Viewline Resort Snowmass will be a part of a collection of more than 200 independent hotels around the world hand-selected for their inherent craft and distinct perspectives on design and hospitality.
Wildwood Snowmass
Situated within the same complex as Viewline Resort Snowmass, Autograph Collection, the hotel offers an ideal locale, just steps from both the slopes and the finest shops, dining, and nightlife in Snowmass Village.
Upon reopening, Wildwood Snowmass will debut Last Chair, a new quality food and beverage experience ideal for après ski, dinner, or late-night fun. Also concepted by RING on HOOK and operated under Davidson Restaurant Group, Last Chair draws inspiration from its approachable alpine setting. The ambiance of the space evokes a whimsical, high-energy, elevated diner feel. Hotel design and development firm The Gettys Group is also overseeing the renovations to Wildwood Snowmass.
Significant enhancements were made to the lobby space, as well as all 114 cozy-chic rooms and six unique suites. Décor features a laid-back, authentic mountain experience in a casual, hip environment. Through updates to the lobby, the arrival experience evokes a sense of place, mirroring the authentic ethos of Snowmass. Designed as a home away from home, accommodations feature generous under-bed storage, cubbies for ski gear, and a place to hang skis and snowboards.
