Quiksilver Unveils Its Latest Capsule Collection For Snow – High Altitude – Inspired By 1990’s Collection
Quiksilver unveils its latest capsule collection for Snow – High Altitude – inspired by the 1990’s but made to meet modern demands. The collection features bold colors, retro prints, and a boxy, oversized fit.
The capsule of jackets and pants pays homage to Quiksilver’s past, using a recolored heritage print from the 90’s archive updated for today’s aesthetic, performance and sustainably made. This High Altitude collection is inspired by riders Austen Sweetin and Miles Fallon, who both wear this kit daily.
Austen channels high-octane energy into smooth finesse. He has explosive skills while riding in the backcountry, quick charging turns at the resort, and ripping good times no matter where he surfs the mountain. His unbridled style is reflected in his outerwear. It’s high performance with big personality. Inspired by Quiksilver’s 90s heritage and updated for modern taste, this collection of Gore-Tex gear goes from pow days to park laps, dripping individuality in bold colors and retro details.
Miles Fallon exists at the apex where high speed meets smooth style. He’s pure energy on a snowboard and huge smiles all the time. And his kit reflects that, dripping with easy aesthetics, heritage prints and classic colourblocking, updated for the momentum of today. It’s not serious, but it’s got serious sustainable tech.
Each of the jackets and pants are sustainably made from ocean waste outerwear shell fabric, making the capsule eco-friendly, while high performance Gore-Tex is featured throughout to provide the wearer with the ultimate in snow tech. To add, ninety-three percent of Quiksilver’s entire outerwear collection continues to be made with eco-friendly manufacturing processes and materials, such as recycled plastic bottles.
