Vail Resorts Welcomes UK travellers Back
It has felt like a long time coming but at last UK travellers can once again hit the slopes of the USA. From Monday 8th November, Vail Resorts looks forward to welcoming UK skiers and boarders to its 34 resorts across North America and Canada.
For those who can't wait to get back in their skis, Keystone is already open and skiers have been making the most of the 3,148 acres of skiable terrain as well as night skiing, CAT skiing and the award winning A51 Terrain park.
After so long cooped up indoors, this season could be the perfect opportunity to shun the Alps and instead head to the US or Canada where bigger mountains and wider pistes await. For families and beginners there is no better place to learn than at Beaver Creek (easily accessible from Denver, a direct flight from UK) where the new McCoy park offers 250 acres of learning terrain. After a day on the slopes kids will love the chefs who wait at the bottom of the mountain with complimentary freshly baked cookies.
For keen skiers, this season is the one to tick off that bucket list. Whether it's heli-skiing the backbowls of Whistler, embarking on a ski tour of Colorado from Vail to Breckenridge (celebrating 60 years this year) and then Crested Butte, or heading to California for sunny skiing at Tahoe, Vail Resorts is the ultimate mountain operator providing the most incredible experiences.
As the US mountains call Brits names once more, surely this is the season for a bigger and better ski trip?
