Schoffel Renews Sponsorship Of Austrian Ski Team
The Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) continues to rely on the quality products provided by the sportswear expert Schöffel. The Austrian athletes will continue to compete in tailor-made Schöffel racing suits in the coming years. The two partners have extended the long-standing exclusive clothing sponsorship to 2026. Last weekend Peter Schöffel, Managing Partner at Schöffel Sportbekleidung GmbH, and ÖSV President Roswitha Stadlober signed the contract at the Ski World Cup Stop in Lech Zürs.
“Dressing the top athletes of the ÖSV is a special honour for us. The aim is to provide the athletes with the best support on their way to the perfect run. Since its inception in 2008, we have regarded the cooperation as a valuable inspiration for the highest level of technology development,” explained Peter Schöffel, Managing Partner at Schöffel Sportbekleidung GmbH:
In the current season, Schöffel is dressing a total of around 350 ÖSV downhill, para and ski-cross athletes, including numerous world and Olympic champions. Trainers, supervisors and official representatives of the association will also receive clothing from this traditional company. The competition outfits include the tailor-made racing suit for slalom, giant slalom, Super-G and downhill, as well as cold weather clothing for the slopes in the association colours of white and red. Exclusive leisurewear for the colder season completes the clothing for the ÖSV.
ÖSV President Roswitha Stadlober: “We appreciate long-term partnerships as a valuable basis for success, and we have relied on Schöffel’s expertise for many years. The family-owned company is just as committed to product durability and sustainability as it is to outstanding technology, so we are delighted that the cooperation has been extended.”
“Successful races are a combination of many factors. I myself focus on always delivering my best performance, and I expect the same commitment from my team and my partners. I associate all my successes with just one clothing brand: Schöffel,” said ÖSV ski racer Katharina Liensberger.
Starting with the 2022/23 ski season, there will, for the first time, be an ÖSV fan collection in the same design as the current athletes’ collection. Children and teenagers will even able able to compete in the same racing suit designs as their heroes.
The shared history of the ski clothing expert Schöffel and the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) dates back to 2008, when Schöffel first dressed the athletes in cold weather clothing to wear off the slopes. Since 2009, Schöffel has also been making the racing suits in which the downhill, para and ski-cross professionals have now achieved more than 1,500 podium positions. A success story that continues.
