OTS 2022 – Now Open For New Exhibitor Bookings - Exhibition Centre Liverpool 7th – 9th June 2022

Following the success of this year’s show at its new venue, Exhibition Centre Liverpool,  we recently announced that the 2022 Outdoor Trade Show (OTS) will be hosted at the  Exhibition Centre Liverpool once again, from Tuesday 7th to Thursday 9th June.

We are now accepting booking requests from new exhibitors wishing to be part of the success of the UK’s only outdoor sports trade show. The early bird booking deadline will run until the 27th March 2022 and OIA members will continue to receive an additional discount.

As it moves into its 16th year, OTS has never been so relevant - moving to early June to align with buying deadlines therefore enhancing its appeal to more brands and buyers. The first outdoor trade show in the summer buying calendar*, followed by the US Outdoor Retailer, OTS provides a cost-effective platform for the UK outdoor trade, especially after such challenging economic times for everyone during the past 18 months. Marta Williams, Director of MCS PR & Events, OTS Organiser commented ‘With over half of 2021 exhibitors having already booked their stand, we are very excited for the 2022 event.  Following restricted travel during Covid and pushing for a Net Carbon Zero industry, exhibitors and retailers not wishing to travel to overseas events, now have a UK National Trade Show in line with buying timelines, allowing decisions to be made with minimal travel and carbon footprint.’

For 2022 the show will occupy all three halls at the exhibition centre, an increase of around 2,000sqm, allowing for more brands to be represented and more space for networking and potential specialist areas.

The Exhibition Centre Liverpool is easy to reach from all parts of the UK and beyond – just 45 minutes from Manchester by road or train and just over two hours from London. The venue is also under two-hours’ drive from Cumbria, and Liverpool Airport is just 30 minutes by bus with the Port of Liverpool having regular ferries to Belfast, Dublin and the Isle of Man.

The 8,100sqm exhibition venue has an enviable location on the banks of the River Mersey and next to Liverpool’s waterfront. The £65m venue opened just six years ago and is only 5 minutes’ walk from Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock and the city centre, with 658 hotels rooms on site.

The concourse at the exhibition centre offers an excellent area overlooking the River Mersey for activities such as morning yoga, a repeat of the successful Sustainability Breakfast and the OTS social can hopefully return in 2022, with the location of the venue being ideal for watersports brands to get involved in the show next year.
