Indy Pass Adds Powder Mountain , Mt. Ashland, West Mountain, New York
The Indy Pass will return 100% of its partner resorts for the 21-22 season along with new additions Powder Mountain, Utah, Mt. Ashland, Oregon, and West Mountain, New York for a total of 66 resorts in the US and Canada. Indy Pass is now on sale priced at $279 for adults, $119 for kids, and $379 for the Indy+ (no blackouts) making it by far, the lowest-priced, multi-mountain pass on the market. The AddOn Pass for partner-resort season passholders will go on sale July 1 for $189 following upgrades to enable online sales and pass verification.
Powder Mountain is the largest ski area in the US with 8464 acres and a lift-served vertical drop of 2519’. The resort receives over 500” of “The Greatest Snow on Earth” and by limiting daily visits and season pass sales, ensures that guests can find fresh tracks for several days after the storm.
“The addition of Powder Mountain, Mt. Ashland, and West Mountain will have Indy Pass holders from coast to coast jumping for joy, said Indy Pass founder Doug Fish. Each has unique and special qualifies that will appeal to a wide range of skiers and riders. Powder Mountain in Utah’s Wasatch range is truly a world-class powder skier's mountain; small-but-mighty Mt. Ashland redefines the meaning of undiscovered gem just minutes from the quaint town of Ashland, and West Mountain with its extensive upgrades over the past decade and commitment to youth racing will be a huge draw for skiers and riders to New York’s Adirondack foothills.
“Joining the Indy Pass has been on our radar and now that we share the same technology partner - Entabeni Systems – it became a very simple integration with our unique philosophy of limiting skier visits to 1,500 per day on our slopes” explains Mark Schroetel, Powder Mountain’s General Manager. Powder Mountain, in efforts to preserve a genuine ski experience on North America’s largest resort by skiable acres, implemented a ticket limit and will keep Indy Pass reservations within the daily cap. On weekends and peak days, 100 Indy Pass tickets will be available, expanding to 250 daily tickets on weekdays and non-holidays.
