British Trade Shows Combine To Create Joint Winter Event In 2022
The owners and organisers of Slide and OTS are pleased to announce the creation a combined winter show that will meet the needs of the snowsport industry and creates a platform for outdoor brands to showcase and present their winter ranges.
Recognising the interest from both the snowsport and outdoor market sectors in a joint show, Slide & OTS Winter is scheduled to go ahead 18-20th January 2022 at the Telford International Centre and will offer retail buyers the opportunity to view the latest equipment and product innovations from all brands involved in the wintersport and outdoor markets.
The collaboration between SIGB and OTS and the Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) to bring to market a combined show illustrates a strong industry desire to have one UK winter trade show.
Commenting on the concept of the new combined winter show, Sonia Prior, Joint President of the Snowsport industries of Great Britain (SIGB), owners of Slide said, “Bringing together both ‘Snowsport’ and ‘Outdoor’ and providing the opportunity for a combined UK winter focused show makes perfect sense, making it both cost effective and time efficient for everyone.”
On behalf of the founders of OTS and CEO of the Outdoor Industries Association, Andrew Denton said, “Many outdoor brands have both Spring and Autumn ranges and the facility to present these ranges independently in the UK in an outdoor winter environment will be very appealing. This partnership between the shows provides a great opportunity to align both market sectors together and offers a great service to the industry.”
The show pulls on the combined strength and resources of experts in the show organisation, management and marketing with Slide organisers, Rare Management retaining responsibility for the overall sales and organisation, whilst MCS PR & Events, organisers of OTS have been appointed to manage the PR, communications and sales support of the joint show.
Exhibitor space booking enquiries are invited by contacting Rare Management from June onwards when the draft floorplan and further details will be available.
