Prinoth Success At FIS Big Air World Cup Season Opener. Flying High At The Snowpark Kreischberg
The world elite of snowboarding and freestyle skiers were guests at the famous Kreischberg resort in Styria. Thanks to the Big Air World Cup, local heroes such as Anna Gasser, Lukas Müllauer and Clemens Millauer along with athletes from around the world competed for medals in these demanding sports.
At the end of December, the 100-strong organising team had begun building the ski jumps, in time for the first training sessions on 4 January. According to CEO Reinhard Kargl, the PRINOTH BISON X, in operation during construction, was “the vehicle of choice for precision work in the snow park and at the world cup.”
Of course, the Snowpark Kreischberg offers new features and obstacles each year and, with the BISON X, has a machine that they can rely on 100%. However demanding and daring the design of the snow park turns out to be, the BISON X makes it possible. Kreischberg and the complete Murtal Seilbahnen Betriebs GmbH rely on PRINOTH quality (12 Prinoth vehicles make their rounds at the resort) and feedback proves them right: the ski resort is widely known for the first class quality of its pistes. Thus, for example, Skiresort.de, the largest German winter sport portal, has awarded its highest score for piste preparation. In 2020 it even gained the “International Double Gold Seal of Piste Quality” in the International ski resort test!
In the competitions that took place on 8 and 9 January, Max Parrot from Canada (in the men’s competitions) and Zoi Sadowski-Synnott from New Zealand (in the women’s contest) were victorious in the end. Training at the PRINOTH X CAMP in October paid off for Sven Thorgren of the Swedish Freestyle Team: he reached second place. The reigning Olympic Champion Anna Gasser gained the Bronze Medal for Austria.
