Airblaster Launches AW 21 - 22 Collection
Rider-owned and operated snowboarding apparel brand, Airblaster, announces the launch of its Winter 20/21 Collection which includes the new limited premium performance Sasquatch line, as well as an expanded collection of midlayers and versatile lifestyle pieces called Landform, and a continuation of Erik Leon’s mold-breaking signature line, offering Pro Model apparel at an entry price point with sustainability and accessibility at the forefront.
New for 2021, Airblaster goes above and beyond Beast Performance, with the Sasquatch line -- a hand-numbered and limited capsule collection that offers supreme breathability and unbeatable waterproof performance for snowboarders who want technical apparel with authentic snowboard function and style. The Sasquatch Line includes the one-piece Sasquatch Suit ($649.95), the 3 Layer Sasquatch Shell ($499.95), Sasquatch Bibs ($419.95), Sasquatch Trenchover (pullover) Jacket ($399.95) and The Sasquatch Elastic Boss Pant ($299.95). Each item is offered in two colorways and limited to 100 pieces per colorway backed by the Swiss precision of SchoellerⓇ’s proprietary performance technology.
Airblaster’s Landform Series offers style-forward no-BS layering solutions from 5K fabric suitable for the outerwear line to cozy fleece pants and tops, wild style hoodies, sweaters and tees. The Sherpa Half Zip Fleece offers show-stopping prints in Turquoise Terry (pterodactyl) and rust daisy. The Breakwinder Packable Pullover packs into a kangaroo pocket and offers 5K protection from the rain or spring slush.
Who else offers a Pro Model Jacket for $150 and Pant for $129? No one. But Erik Leon’s desire to help make snowboarding more accessible is challenging the status quo. With more than 50% recycled content the Leon Revert Jacket and Pant make the case that snowboarding and sustainability are for everyone.
A few other notable new products for 21/22 include the new Youth Trenchover Jacket, Youth Boss Pant, and Youth Commodity beanie, as well as the upcoming collaboration with Salmon Arms, The Terry Mitts for grown up human hands in small/medium or medium/large.
And, of course, the famous (or infamous) one-piece baselayer that started it all-- the Ninja Suit, will continue to be available to adventurers of all persuasions, with new prints both mild and wild, in merino tencel blend, classic poly, or performance pro. Sizes start for the littlest ninjas in the family and fit up to adult XXL.
