Zermatt - Matterhorn is a "Family Destination"

The Zermatt - Matterhorn destination has been awarded the “Family Destination” label by the Swiss Tourism Association.
Zermatt can once again call itself a family destination. The Swiss Tourism Association has awarded the Zermatt - Matterhorn destination the “Family Destination” award for the years 2022-2024. The destination thus fulfills the requirements of the association and was checked by experts on site. It bears the label with the approval of the national quality assurance commission. Zermatt was named a “Family Destination” for the first time in 2013, and since then the award has been renewed every three years. For this purpose, the application documents must be re-submitted and checked.
In a destination that has been awarded the “Family Destination” label, the touristic service providers continuously deal with the issue of quality and dedicate themselves in particular to the quality of service in the area of family-friendliness. The label distinguishes holiday resorts and holiday destinations that tailor their offers specifically to the needs and wishes of children and their companions.
In Zermatt, variety, fun and lots of exercise in healthy alpine air are guaranteed for the whole family. Children up to nine years of age enjoy free holidays - thanks to the so-called Wolli Card.
The Cervo Mountain Resort receives the Ahead Award 2021
The “Cervo Mountain Resort” in Zermatt, which opened in 2009, has reason to be happy: after the renovation and expansion, the hotel now has the AHEAD Award in the “Resort” category in Europe.
The Cervo in Zermatt receives the Ahead Award 2021 for design and hotel experience. After a major renovation and new building in 2020, the CERVO reopened with a further developed concept.
After major renovations and extensions and with a further developed concept, the Cervo Mountain Resort started a new decade in December 2020. The Cervo has now received the Ahead Award in the Resort category of the Europe Edition 2021.
The expert jury of the Ahead Awards Europe 2021 Edition said of the Cervo: "The resort in the Alps offers a different kind of luxury, where sustainability and closeness to nature are in the foreground". The «Cervo» is «idiosyncratic, responsible and beautifully embedded in the landscape.»

Hotel Zermama classified as a 4-star hotel
The Hotellerie Suisse association has classified the Hotel Zermama as a 4-star hotel and recorded the classification with the specializations “design and lifestyle hotel”, “snow sports hotel” and “hiking hotel”.
29 rooms are available at the Zermama. The Zer Mama Bistro invites you to eat. Where the Hotel Admiral used to be, today is the Hotel Zermama with 29 rooms. The co-working space managed by PuraWorka invites you to spend hours efficiently and the associated bistro “Zer Mama Bistro” for refreshments. The Hotel Zermama was first-rated as a 3-star superior hotel in May 2020, and now it can be called a 4-star hotel. HotellerieSuisse has carried out the necessary classification.
