Watch Klattermusen Head To The Mountains In ‘Pioneer’s Route’ Short-Film

Klättermusen’s latest short-film Pioneer’s Route sees former Olympic alpine skier Gudmund Söderin return to the mountains he first visited in 1976, clad in the Swedish brand’s finest outerwear.

Even when following in the footsteps of predecessors, one's individual experience is always unique. Landscapes change, equipment evolves, and the conditions are always unpredictable. 

But among these differences, those who seek out the stories that the mountains have to tell, always share one key characteristic: an innate drive for discovery and the exploration of one’s limits, seeking the reward that lies beyond them.

Gudmund Söderin started exploring Sylarna over forty years ago. Now returning with his daughter Nanna, accompanied by former pro snowboarder Hampus Mosesson and freeskier Joakim Johansson, their group will discover how the experience of the route differs between the two generations, while Gudmund rediscovers the expanse himself.
