Slide & OTS Winter Say “The Show Must Go On”
Following the recent announcements from the Government, the organisers confirm that they are still permitted to go ahead with the Slide & OTS Winter show as planned from 18-20 January.
The new regulations mean that everyone will need to have a valid Covid certificate showing their double vaccination status or else proof of a recent negative lateral flow or PCR test.
They are putting plans in place, along with the venue, to implement these regulations in case they still apply at the time of the show.
It would therefore be sensible for all visitors to familiarise yourselves with how you can prove your status in order to access the show.
If you have not yet registered, please sign up here.
They will update everyone in the New Year as the show approaches.
Exhibitors
There are currently just shy of 90 exhibitors booked in, bringing several hundred different brands; from well-established names to start-up newcomers like Snow Tech Products and new to the UK brands, like Kilpi.
You can contact brands via the exhibitor list on the website to make appointments at the show to ensure you maximise your time.
Book a hotel – we hear the hotels are filling up, so make sure you have booked your overnights stays in advance. Details here.
SIGB Networking Drinks, supported by the National Snow Show
At the end of the first day, Tuesday 18th, the SIGB is hosting networking drinks in the main café, with support from the National Snow Show, the consumer show that took place in Birmingham in October, bringing joy to consumers and trade alike. It’s your chance to relax after a long day at the show and to reconnect with colleagues and friends in person over a drink.
Slide & OTS Awards
Exhibitors are entering their top products into the show awards. A feature area will display the entries with SIGB and OIA member retailers as well as media and industry opinion leaders being invited to vote for the best products in the following categories: Snowsport Hardware, Outdoor Hardware, Softwear and Accessories. There’s also an award for the best new brand, the Fresh Brand Award and also one for the product that is genuinely green, the Eco Award, in partnership with Protect Our Winters UK, who will judge the Eco Award.
