For its 13th edition Courchevel is adorned with monumental works for its “Art at the Summit” exhibition ! On the program for these visual celebrations, emblematic creations by two internationally renowned French artists: Michel Bassompierre and Richard Orlinski. A unique open-air exhibition that visitors will be able to discover during their walk in our resort… an unforgettable experience!
Two artists, two worlds, a deep sense of aesthetics! During this exhibition our guests will discover the unique universe of two famous artists. Two essential artists for this new edition of Art at the Summit who will make culture shine more strongly in the mountains.
Michel Bassompierre
Passionate about the wild animal world , Bassompierre shapes monumental bronzes that he creates as veritable “Fragile Colossi”. From his majestic and poetic works emanates a strong message: to sensitize parents and children to the protection of animals. The artist's creations exhibited for the occasion will be bears and gorillas, witnesses of climatic disturbances in spite of them. The message is highlighted by the presence of 6 emblematic sculptures, 6 sublime creatures who will live in peace in the resort over time.of this exhibition and will offer the space of a few days a privileged access to the intimacy of their life. Exceptionally beautiful works for a universal message to discover absolutely!

Richard Orlinski's works are resolutely modern and his bestiary which has traveled the planet presents colorful animals in XXL dimensions. Creatures both proud and conquering who are also a symbol of gentleness and freedom!
For this 13th edition of Art at the Summit, Richard Orlinski will present his new work specially created for the occasion: a polar bear on skis! A new endearing companion that does not lack panache, to discover this winter which is sure to delight young and old!
