Arc'teryx Academy Launches First Ever European Winter Edition - Freeride St.Anton
The Arc'teryx Academy is expanding. From 18-20 February, 2022, the Academy’s inaugural Freeride Edition will take place in St. Anton am Arlberg, Austria. Just like the Arc'teryx Alpine Academy, the event will cater for all skill levels.
Over two days, professional mountain guides and world-class athletes will lead 23 courses spanning everything from first aid and avalanche safety to an all-women freeride workshop. Aimed at fans of backcountry, freeride and off-piste skiing, all courses come with a range of options.
A full programme of après-ski social events including a movie night follows the Academy’s daytime activities.
Numbers are limited to ensure attendees get the most out of the event. Every participant will also get a goodie bag of products from Arc'teryx and participating partners.
The Arc'teryx Academy Freeride (and a third European academy that is still to be announced) is in addition to the brand’s existing events – Arc'teryx Alpine Academy (Chamonix, FR) and the Arc'teryx Academy Climb Lake District.
“We are excited to launch a winter Academy in Europe for the first time and can't wait to welcome athletes, participants, guides and visitors. A weekend with kindred spirits brimming with tips, tricks and inspiration," says Max Müller, EMEA Sports Marketing Manager, Arc'teryx.
Prices for the courses range from €80-€140. Registration opens from 21 December.
