New Union Peak Festival At Copper Mountain Features Free Performances From Walk The Moon And Saint Motel
Copper Mountain announced today that it will host the inaugural Union Peak Festival, a three-day festival convergence of community, sport and art, from Sept. 10-12. From live demonstrations and complimentary clinics to free shows by local bands and headline performances from WALK THE MOON and Saint Motel, Union Peak Festival is the ultimate celebration of the mountain athlete.

Union Peak will bring together athletes and artists in a weekend of elevated pursuits and amplified experiences. An art walk will be set along the village path complete with live art installations, artistic performances and acoustic tunes. Mountain sports experts will conduct interactive demonstrations for biking, fly fishing, golf, climbing and more, providing a space for recreational skill development. The Summit Up 7K, a challenging resort run, will round out the weekend festivities, testing participants competitive edge in the high-alpine terrain.
As the sun sets, Union Peak Festival heats up with free headline performance from WALK THE MOON on the main stage in Eagle’s Landing in Copper’s Center Village on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. Ohio’s WALK THE MOON is an alt-rock-pop band that catapulted into the spotlight in 2014 with their hit “Shut Up and Dance.” California indie rock band, Saint Motel will play the main stage on Sunday, Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m. A full music lineup for all three days, including names of opening acts, will be announced soon. All concerts are free to attend.
