We love skiing but found carrying skis cumbersome. It got harder when our little boy started joining us for skiing when he was 4, about 6 years ago. This was the pivotal time when SNOWTĒD was first conceived.
In between or after fun times on the slope, we always had a tired and grumpy little boy who refused to carry his skis. And we ended up with an extra set of skis on our - well, I mean mainly my husband’s - shoulders while struggling with our own ones. We tried many different types of ski carriers but found that the lack of instant accessibility to the carriers and our gears, and the long process of assembling and disassembling takes away the fun of skiing.
There is the constant need to carry our skis, especially when we are in a big ski resort. All the existing ski carriers are designed to be used only at the beginning, or the end of our ski day.
We wished there was a stylish carrier that remains on us, even when we are skiing and can carry our skis whenever we need it, no matter how short/long the walk or how often we need to use it. So we decided to design exactly that – a practical yet stylish ski carrier for all leisure skiers!
