Mountaineering Brand Klattermusen Introduces Vale insulation Jacket
Sweden Klättermusen, maker of the world’s most refined mountaineering equipment, today launched the Vale, a two-layer active insulation jacket made with Levitend, a 100% recycled polyamide with bluesign approval.
Klättermusen launch Vale active insulation jacket
Designed to be a purposefully adaptive piece of kit, the Vale can be worn as a mid-layer under a technical shell, or as an outer-layer, depending on the environment and activity. Thanks to its WindStretch™windproof outer, and PrimaLoft® insulation patches, the Vale will maintain warmth whilst allowing breathability.
Klättermusen CEO and Nordic Mountaineer Gonz Ferrero says of the Vale, “We put a lot of thought into the usability of this piece, and wanted to create something that was simple, but highly breathable and fast drying. It’s a fundamentally reliable jacket that you can turn to again and again for different activities due to its versatility and functionality.”
