Ellis Brigham Introduces Ski Fit Sunday
With ski resorts already opening in the Alps and Scottish resorts preparing for a bumper season, the current lockdown offers a great opportunity to get ski fit at home before the winter season.
Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports is offering free weekly virtual Ski Fit classes starting this Sunday 8th November at 10am. Each 20-minute session will be hosted by 5 x British Ski Champion Cara Brown and her partner at VC Ski Fitness, Vivian Fonseca. They will cover a combination of skiing technique and strength that can be done at home without the need for equipment.
Cara has competed in numerous Europa Cup and World Cup races around Europe for the past 5 years. In 2018, Cara made her first EuropaCup points finishing in the top 30 5x in Giant Slalom and Downhill. Cara made her first Super G point in 2019 finishing 19th at the finals. Cara has been consistently improving her world ranking in giant slalom, super g and downhill despite a torn ACL in 2016, a fractured tibial plateau in 2018 and then a second ACL tear in January 2020. Cara represents Scotland at a National level and Great Britain on an international level. Cara is also the owner and designer of Corallina Swim, her own swimwear company!
