Bern Helmets is seeking to expand their UK business and has appointed leading outdoor boutique agency Spring PR to handle their UK PR work.
Bern is a private helmet company with a 15-year legacy of pioneering street-inspired gear that sets the tone for style, comfort, and safety on the streets, trails, slopes, and on the water.
Bern focuses on designing stylish, innovative, and purpose-built helmets that appeal to riders looking for something a little out of the ordinary. Being the original all-season helmet brand, Bern is a team that’s passionate about being active, and having fun.
At Bern they embrace all aspects of the activities they love and strive to make high-quality products that speak to kids, commuters, casual riders, even dedicated athletes. Whether you ride for transportation, exercise, or just as a great way to get outdoors, Bern has your head covered
Bern have included MIPS technology in the Macon ski/snowboard helmet. The multi-directional impact protection system (MIPS) equips the Macon with an intelligent, multi-layered liner system that allows for the foam liner to slightly rotate independent from your head and ultimately minimise the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to the brain. This technology is combined with an ABS shell lined with EPS Foam to create a low profile, lightweight lid that meets certifications for both bike and snow.
The Macon features an easy adjustable strap divider and an EZ-Fit system which auto-adjusts every time you put it on. This system utilises an elastic system to keep the fit snug and secure every time you wear the helmet. The EPS liner is ribbed for more coverage and better protection and is super lightweight too.
All over venting helps keep you cool in summer or winter skate sessions, long cycle rides or laps through the park. The helmet liner can be removed, meaning you can easily wash it to keep your helmet fresh. You can also replace the liner with the summer pad kit (included) and remove the ear pads when you want to use the helmet in warmer conditions.
