Swiss Alpine Ski Coach Osi Inglin Appointed As Head Coach Of The Finnish Men's Alpine Team
Ski Sport Finland, which is responsible for the national teams for alpine skiing, has confirmed the appointments of the head coaches for the coming season.
Swiss Osi Inglin will start as the new head coach of the men's team. The agreement is for two years and thus extends until the Beijing 2022 Olympics. Inglin is a long standing alpine ski coach whose resume is second to none. In his career, Inglin has coached Swiss men's and women's A national teams and served as the country's sports director.
Prior to working in North America and Norway, Inglin built a team and program in Switzerland, from which Marco Odermatt, Daniel Yule, Ramon Zenhausern and Loic Meillard , among others, later rose to the very top of the World Cup.. In addition to his coaching duties, Inglin has trained coaches and played key roles in several international alpine skiing competitions.
