Update On Remaining FIS World Cup Events & Upcoming Congress

The FIS competition schedule has seen many changes in the last few weeks due to both the continued spread of the Coronavirus and some weather-related reasons.  Below is an overview of the current status (as of Wednesday 11th March at 14:00) of each remaining FIS World Cup competition through the end of the season.

For all other FIS competitions, FIS will maintain the existing principles that are being applied, which are to fully comply with the instructions and decisions of the National and Regional Governments and their Health Authorities.

Additionally, FIS remains in constant contact with the hosting National Ski Associations and Organising Committees to provide support including information about measures undertaken by other Organisers. Guidelines prepared to support the Organising Committees with their event preparations and execution can be found here:

Due to the fact that the developments with the implications of the Corona-virus are evolving continually there will be no short-term change announced. Relocating the FIS Congress once will be a major task, but to then have to make a further change would be even more complex.

Should any changes to the current competition calendars be necessary as a result of measures imposed by National and Regional Governments, they will be announced as any decisions are made. Please keep an eye on the FIS Website and FIS App for any changes.

The FIS Congress 2020, Royal Cliff (THA) is still scheduled to take place as planned, but in light of the constantly changing global situation and travel advisories and restrictions, FIS is investigating alternative plans.
