Dear friends,
Summer has officially started in Wyoming! The grass is green, the wildflowers are out, and the mountains are the place to be. The Butte is truly a magical place and it has been a gift to watch it change from a winter snow covered mountain to a lush summer paradise over the past few months.
June was an eventful and productive month at Antelope Butte! We started the month with the announcement of the Big Horn REA Summer Concert Series and we ended the month with the first concert in the series this past Saturday. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day on the mountain! We had tunes from Chrometones, Lacy Nelson and Sally & George, brews from Montucky Cold Snacks, Broken Compass Brewing, WYOld West Brewing, and Smith Alley Brewing, delicious food from Bino’s Catering, and a yoga session with Kula Space!
As events across the country have been canceled, we are so grateful that we are able to safely provide outdoor events to our community and we have sponsors that are able to support us! A big shout out to our sponsors and volunteers that made this event possible: Big Horn REA, Kennon, Security State Bank, Sheridan Media, Let'Er Buck Car Wash, Go Fast Don't Die, Powder Horn Realty, WYO Theater and Bank of Greybull!
As the summer continues, we are excited to keep the momentum moving forward with the July and August concerts, continue to plan our youth programs for this upcoming year, and make progress on the lodge. We hope to see you on the mountain soon!
