Stranglers Are Set To Rock The Pistes In The Alps This Winter
Dates have been announced for the 10th edition of Rock the Pistes, the original music festival in the mountains with concerts on the slopes. With more than 28,000 music fans expected to descend on the Portes du Soleil from 15-21 March 2020, it is the largest music festival in the region. The event will comprise five live concerts and more than 30 après-ski concerts across multiple resorts, with festival goers able to literally ski from one performance to the next.
The Stranglers have been confirmed to play the Swiss resort of Morgins on 21 March, while IAM will perform in the French resort of Avoriaz 1800 on 20 March. The full line up can now be viewed on the Rock the Pistes website, with free access to the concerts for lift pass holders.
The entertainment starts at 12.45pm on the slopes with a DJ warm-up set, followed by the main concert at 1.30pm.
And to make sure you can ski home without rushing after the concert, the mountain lifts will stay open half an hour later than usual during the whole week of festival!
Plus the OFF festival, in the heart of the resorts, that'll feature up-and-coming new talent, so you can make the most of your après-ski!
