Destination Home is moving

The home furnishing shop Destination Home is expected to move to Annelis at Steinmattstrasse 2 in early July. The new shop will be completely renovated and will be presenting customized products in the future. Part of the new concept are the expansion of the in-house collection “Destination Home Zermatt” and the offer for apartment and house owners. In addition to the sale of decorative items such as woolen blankets, pillows or kitchen textiles, the shop offers a complete service for renovation and interior work, which includes planning, organization and project management. Furniture, lighting, home textiles, kitchen equipment and bedding - the whole package can be planned and ordered via Destination Home. Whenever possible, the company relies on local partners, local production and manual labor.

Europaweghütte opens under a new name

After minor renovations, the Europaweghütte is expected to open in mid-June 2020 under the new name “Täschalp Restaurant & Lodge” and the new management of Gela and André Lerjen, who will be hosting the Othmar's ski hut in winter. For the time being, only the renovated restaurant is open, which welcomes hikers on the Europaweg and the Tour Monte Rosa with Valais cuisine. The lodge remains closed because a new concept is being developed and renovation work is taking place
