Zeal Optics Donates To Goggles For Docs
With the widespread pandemic that is now sweeping the nation, Zeal knows that resources for healthcare workers are scarce. Goggles For Docs was created as an effort to get used or new ski goggles from brands and individuals into the hands of healthcare workers who currently have no eye protection as they treat COVID-19 patients.
Goggle manufacturer Zeal Optics (Boulder, CO) is proud to be a donor to this giveback initiative. The brand has donated to two hospitals in Colorado, including Lutheran Medical Center in Arvada and Centura Health in Centennial. It has also donated to two hospitals requesting need in Southern California. Zeal Optics plans to expand their reach in donating to more hospitals around Colorado, as requests from healthcare facilities come in.
“Goggles for Docs is a very creative grassroots program that materialized in the medical community as a response to the lack of eye protection for doctors and nurses on the front lines of the COVID-19 response. We’ve been inspired by countless stories of selfless medical professionals risking their own well-being to fight this pandemic in our communities, and we’re thrilled to partner with Goggles For Doctors to do what we can to support the battle against this virus.”- Director of Marketing, Mike Lewis
Zeal Optics will continue to support this organization through the pandemic and encourages doctors, nurses and first responders to head to gogglesfordocs.com to request goggles that can be used as PPE, based on the needs of their facilities and communities.
