Sundance Mountain Resort Announces Fall Author Series Lineup

Sundance Mountain Resort is pleased to announce its Fall Author Series lineup featuring Pat Mitchell, author of “Becoming a Dangerous Woman,” on October 5, Rick McIntyre, author of “The Rise of Wolf 8,” on October 26, and Katherine Eban, author of “Bottle of Lies,” on December 7.

Now in its 18th year, the Sundance Author Series strives to highlight authors whose books convey a meaningful message and carefully address current social issues. Pat Mitchell, the editorial director of TEDWomen and Emmy-award-winning producer, will recap her memoir on being a forward-thinking and inspiring woman in the workplace. Rick McIntyre, a former biological technician for the Yellowstone Wolf Project, will tell the incredible true story of the return of wild wolves to Yellowstone after they were killed off by park rangers in the 1920’s. McIntyre’s book also includes a foreword by Robert Redford. Katherine Eban, an award-winning investigative journalist, will discuss her decade-long investigation into the overseas generic drug manufacturers cutting corners at the cost of quality and safety.

Programs Director for Sundance Mountain Resort, Mari Turner said, “The Author Series is a special and intimate experience. We invite authors who write books that convey a message of meaning or tell a story that can impact the lives of others. We are excited about our Fall lineup and welcoming these writers to Sundance.”

The cost to attend the Author Series is $89 and includes a lecture and discussion from the author, a signed copy of the author’s book, and the Resort’s award-winning brunch. Tickets are available online at sundanceresort.com/author or by calling (866)734-4428.
