New VIP Ski Club Chalet In St Anton, Austria
After the success of VIP SKI’s CLUB Chalet program in France; opening this December is VIP CLUB Fritz, the first CLUB Chalet being introduced to VIP SKI’s Austrian portfolio in St Anton.
The CLUB Chalet is a great way to meet other like-minded skiers or families in the convivial atmosphere of a larger shared chalet. VIP’s CLUB Chalets are reserved by the room, have chefs and a more flexible menu plan, canapé receptions every evening, complimentary beer and wine, breakfast and cleaning every day. Ideal for accommodating families, couples and large groups of friends who do not want to take a whole chalet.
A holiday in VIP CLUB Fritz offers the very best of both worlds: the fun atmosphere of a club-hotel with the intimacy and exclusivity of a private chalet, all wrapped up in ubiquitous VIP SKI service.
Renovated in 2015, this lovingly crafted traditional stone and wood clad attractive chalet is in a quiet, elevated spot with lovely views across St. Anton. It seamlessly combines modern luxuries with classic original features that will give guests a glimpse of St Anton’s past. This chalet has character and charm. Six minutes’ walk down to the main lift, piste and après ski strip, it is close enough to be in the action but far enough away for absolute quiet with an amazing view.
Spanning three floors, VIP CLUB Fritz sleeps 22 guests. There are eleven spacious bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms and three with balcony’s with spectacular views. There is a large dining room with dual aspect balconies and a log fire to enjoy. The spacious lounge has ample comfy seating, terrace and a log fire. Modern and contemporary in style and design this fabulous chalet is the perfect base from which to explore the extensive Arlberg ski area. Downstairs on the ground floor there is a wellness area with sauna and steam room, the ideal place to relax after a day on the slopes. For guests’ convenience, a chauffeured vehicle service runs to and from the piste daily until 20.00.
As at all VIP SKI CLUB chalets, food is taken very seriously. Guests at CLUB Fritz are gently eased into the day with a wake- up drink followed by a deliciously hearty breakfast on seven mornings and afternoon tea on their return to the chalet after a day on the slopes. A daily canapé reception before dinner allows guests to share tales of their day’s skiing adventures over a drink from the free bar (wine and beer). CLUB Fritz has a chef and hostess on hand to ensure guests’ every wish is met.
Prices include return flights from London Gatwick, coach transfers, accommodation, catered chalet board of cooked breakfast, afternoon tea, three course evening meal on six nights followed by cheese board and coffee and mints, house wine, champagne on arrival and canapés on six nights, wake up drinks and complimentary toiletries. Guests can also choose to book; valet parking, private transfers and childcare.
Adventurous intermediates and expert skiers will love the long, exhilarating runs from Valluga as well as the world-class off-piste. Skiers can also enjoy some of the highest altitude skiing in the Alps with a vast network of cable cars and lifts that include skiing in the exclusive resorts of Lech, Zürs, St. Christoph and Stuben. The village itself sits at 1305m but Valluga, at 2810m, is effortlessly reached via one of the largest cable cars in Austria, guaranteeing snow throughout the season. Non-skiers are also in for a treat with a superb network of walking paths and many other snow related activities.
