Velilleck F1: The fastest chairlift in the Silvretta Arena
The reconstruction of the Velilleckbahn chairlift should provide winter sports fans with a very easy and comfortable record journey up to the Pardatschgrat this season. The region’s fastest chairlift at 6m per second replaces the old 2-seater chairlift which has finally been demolished after having transported around 14 million people at two sites over a period of 41 years. The new Velilleck F1, a new generation detachable 6-seater chairlift from Doppelmayr, extends the route of the old lift by 1,353m. The new transportation capacity is: 2,400 people per hour. The very low-noise and low-vibration chairlift has been fully redesigned from the access barrier to the comfortable upholstered seating. The individual seats are ergonomically designed, heatable and extra-wide at 52 cm. They include an optimised security bar. Highlight: The backs of the 79 chairs are unique and feature pictures of plants from the surrounding mountain region. The Velilleckbahn valley station (2,048m) is, like the old chairlift, situated directly on piste no. 7. From here, the Velilleck F1 transports winter sports fans up 572m of altitude and 16 supports to the Pardatschgrat at 2,620m in around 6 minutes. Visnitz N2: The first 8-seater D-line chairlift in Switzerland

Winter sports fans now have an easy means of transportation from the Alp Trida to the Visnitzkopf at 2,633m using the new lift, travelling over 13 supports and 372m of altitude in around 4.5 minutes. The individual seats on the 67 chairs of this very low-noise and low-vibration chairlift are ergonomically designed, heatable and extra-wide at 52 cm. They include an optimised security bar.
