Greek Peak And Toggenburg Mountain Continue To Improve Guest Service
Operating two ski resorts is capital intensive to say the least. Since new ownership of Greek Peak Mountain Resort (2013) and Toggenburg Mountain (TOG -2015) investments exceed $6,500,000. These improvements heavily serviced the mountain from snowmaking to snowsports.
The teams at Greek Peak and TOG are eager to kick off the 19/20 season with more improvements to the tune of $760,000. Not only will the investment service mountain improvements - such as snowmaking pipe and tower guns - guests will experience enhancements in the lodge. From landscaping and paint to new king beds, to website and ecommerce overhaul for a more user-friendly navigation. Improvements also include enhancements to catering – both onsite and offsite.
The resorts have continued their partnership with a New Jersey firm, SNOW Operating, focused on customer experience and Terrain Based Learning™. Terrain Based Learning™ is an award-winning revolutionary new way of learning. It removes traditional fears and anxiety from learning to ski and snowboard and puts the focus on the fun. Terrain Based Learning™ is a process for teaching beginner lessons that utilizes purpose-built snow features to assist the guest in achieving the movements, sensations and body positioning needed to ski and snowboard.
To truly experience both mountains, many patrons choose the dual mountain pass to ski & ride, called The Greekenburg. The season passes come with discounts at Greek Peak and Tog and some really great reciprocal offers at partner mountains such as Holiday Valley, West Mountain and Mad River Glen to name a few.
Greek Peak always aims to open for the season on "White Friday" following Thanksgiving and TOG shortly after in December.
