Gore Mountain Announces Improvements For 2020
Gore Mountain announces improvements
New Direct-To-Lift Gates for Winter 19/20
New gates at the lifts! Now keep your pass securely in your jacket and head up the mountain. No more worrying about losing your pass or having to present it to the attendants before your rides. Have you purchased a 19/20 season pass or frequent skier card? They'll be updating your products to include this new technology. They look forward to mailing them to you or printing them in person (depending on your preference) in late October/early November.
New Competition-Level Freestyle Course for Winter 19/20
The Pot Luck and Wild Air trails are joining forces to deliver a premier competition course. Look for a prime jump line and new earthen features that mean serious action on event days, and all-around extra fun and big air the other days.
Burnt Ridge Mountain Warming Cabin for Winter 19/20
Spend more time on Burnt Ridge Mountain this season, because now there's a little cabin for warming up between laps! This new improvement has been completed in partnership with our friends at NYSEF & The Town of Johnsburg, they look forward to it making the Burnt Ridge Mountain experience even better this winter.
More Gore Means More Snow!
You're at Gore to enjoy the snow. Making more of it- faster- is and will continue to be a priority. Gore has essentially rebuilt their snowmaking system, particularly during the last twelve months. Gore's newly increased snowmaking capabilities are now better matched to its immense expanse of varied Adirondack terrain. They have integrated the most updated snowmaking technologies, introduced hundreds more of the latest guns, and have developed an all-new infrastructure for increasing and improving water pumping capacity and distribution. They make more snow in less time, which is better for both the environment and your skiing experience. Crews now work smarter, faster, and more efficiently, with new abilities to control key snowmaking areas remotely.
