Gian Franco Kasper Honoured With Australian Olympic Committee’s President’s Trophy

On the occasion of the World Sport and Business Summit SportAccord Convention 2019, FIS President Gian Franco Kasper was awarded the President’s Trophy by the Australian Olympic Committee.

In 2018, AOC President John Coates AC initiated the President’s Trophy to recognise long-serving leaders of International Federations and other organisations within the Olympic Movement.

On Monday 6th May, Kasper received this prestigious award AOC from Coates in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Olympic sport and as President of the International Ski Federation (FIS) since 1998.
