SUFAG And FIS Extend Partnership Through 2023

FIS and the French MND group and its SUFAG brand extended their partnership for another four years as "Official Product Partner". The agreement was signed on 31st May in Dubrovnik (CRO).

As part of the agreement, SUFAG will supply snowmaking machines to designated Organisers of FIS competitions to ensure the smooth running of competitions on the official FIS calendar.

Alpine skiing competition slopes require quality snow that is resistant to the wear and tear from multiple athletes’ pressure. Among the snow guns made available to FIS, SUFAG will supply its new Makalu model. Unveiled three weeks ago at the Interalpin trade show, Makalu embeds the most advanced technologies to produce snow of a very high quality with more power and yet a lower energy consumption.

The MND group has also been a partner for two years of the Bring Children to the

Snow programme, to help FIS increase the interest of the next generation in snow sports. With its support, SUFAG helps FIS set up urban events by creating snow areas in cities.
